WHAT INSPIREDMY CAREER

I develop a strong interest for health and wellness at a very young age. My interest was further strengthened in 1992 when I sustained a spinal injury during rugby practice. The perceived serious nature of the injury ended my rugby career, and threatened my ability to participate in future sports activities. Refusing surgery as an option and with the love and support of my family, determination and professional guidance I made a full recovery and returned to an active lifestyle that same year. This experience was and still remains an invaluable lesson to me, show casing the amazing resilience of the human body and healing power of the human spirit. This point marked the start of a wonderful career in the Health and Fitness industry, and fuelled my passion to empower others to overcome setbacks due to injury, train safely, and do so enthusiastically.
